What My Stance Is On Copyright/Copyleft

I believe, being one of the arts with dance and art itself, I appreciate the original work of an artist, whether they are a painter, a film director, producer, musician, or dancer.  I look up to the creators of THEIR work.  When others copy it and use it as their own, it can become frustrating, especially when you are the creator.  However, with copyleft and images that are used on Tumblr and other websites that show images that are shared on Twitter and Facebook, I completely support that, because they are images that want to be shared and people know that they are not theirs.  With copyright, I strongly believe that it is important to mention the original creator and to not make it your own even if you feel as though you can.  We are taught this in school with plagiarism and writing papers, we are taught to always source our references no matter what.  With that being said, the same goes for trying to take a one of a kind piece and trying to pass it off as your own, or even going about things the wrong way.
